There will also be a 12-foot Santa Claus, giant dazzling spangled stars, plus gold and silver reindeer, all ready for the perfect photo-opp.

The installations along the stroll are made to spread holiday cheer and build community, Hey Stamford! said in a news release.

The themed Christmas Village will feature "a visual extravaganza for the senses where you’ll celebrate the holiday with delicious food vendors, and a winter beer garden." Guests can enjoy an ample bar and a plush lounge, too.

For the youngest guests, there will be carnival rides and holiday favorites such as cider doughnuts and hot chocolate with marshmallows.

The event benefits Connor’s Cure, a pediatric cancer organization whose vital work supports leading-edge cancer research.

Ilario Altamura, of Parachute Concerts, said he's honored to present the All-New Holiday Stroll for its second year. Parachute Concerts produces large-scale concert events, festivals and activations.

"Our outdoor experience has been created to become an iconic holiday destination for the community," Altamura said in a news release. "We’ve teamed up with talented design partners to welcome a new tradition as we share the wonder of the holiday."
