On April 17 at approximately 11:39 p.m., a CT state trooper from Troop G was dispatched on a report of a gray Toyota Rav4 that was involved in a hit-and-run collision in Stamford, state police said in an arrest report.

Stamford police were in pursuit of the Toyota on I-95 northbound in the area of exit 10, state police said, noting local authorities ended the chase a short time later in the area of exit 13.

State troopers found the Toyota in the area of exit 18 and tried to stop it, but the vehicle continued, state police said.

Responding troopers then boxed the vehicle in and were able to stop it on I-95 northbound near exit 26.

An investigation found a gun, a SOG tomahawk axe, and a 12-inch Sogfari black machete in the vehicle, state police said.

After her arrest, Palchevskiy was temporarily surrendered to York Correction Institution on a $100,000 cash bond, state police noted. She was scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court Monday morning.
