The Stamford facility marks Golf Lounge 18's 11th location. There are other CT locations in Canton, Danbury, Fairfield, Orange and South Windsor, to go along with outposts in Braintree, Mass.; Dedham, Mass.; Lake Grove, N.Y.; Peabody, Mass.; and White Plains, N.Y.

"Opening our 11th location at RXR’s Atlantic Station is a proud milestone for the Golf Lounge 18 team and a testament to the successful journey we’ve taken to get these doors open," said Golf Lounge 18 founder and CEO, Ajit Padda, in an announcement.

"By combining state-of-the-art simulation technology with a premium food and beverage experience, we’re offering Stamford a year-round entertainment destination that didn't exist here before," Padda added.

"It’s about more than just golf; it’s about community and high-quality entertainment for everyone – from serious golfers and non-golfers to families, kids, and professionals joining us for after-work happy hours. We look forward to becoming a staple for local residents, offering a wide array of options including open play, memberships, leagues, professional lessons, and even after-school kids’ camps and clinics."

Guests can hold corporate events, birthday parties, or even a golf fitting day at the facility.

The company is marking the opening with a series of events over the next few days.

A grand opening party is planned for May 2, beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by city officials, the Stamford Chamber of Commerce and invited guests. The Kentucky Derby-themed event is set to include free golf, food, a best-dressed contest, live viewing of the race and competitions throughout the evening.

The venue will also host a Sip & Swing Ladies Instructional Night on May 29 as part of Women’s Golf Week, offering instruction and a social setting for participants.

"Our partnership with Golf Lounge 18 reflects RXR’s broader strategy of bringing experiential, group-focused retail to the downtowns where we build," said Whitney Arcaro, chief revenue officer for residential at RXR,. "Following our momentum in New Rochelle, we’re proud to announce our lease and celebrate the opening at Atlantic Station and provide an engaging destination for residents and the community alike that enhances the energy and day-to-night experience of downtown Stamford."

Atlantic Station includes 650 residential units and about 82,000 square feet of retail space across two towers.

The development is located one block from the Stamford Transportation Center, which is served by Amtrak, Metro-North and CT Transit.
