STAMFORD, CT — The 2026 Stamford Early Childhood Fair is scheduled to return May 2 at Mill River Park, offering families a free, morning-long event focused on early learning resources and community connections.
The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the park’s Carousel Lawn and is open to all families. A rain date is set for May 16.
Organizers said the fair will feature a range of activities for children, including arts and crafts, face painting, story time sessions, games and bubble activities.
In addition to recreational offerings, the event is designed to connect parents and caregivers with early childhood resources. Families will have the opportunity to meet representatives from preschool programs and family home child care providers, as well as local health, education and social service organizations.
The fair is organized in partnership with Stamford Cradle to Career, United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut, and the Stamford Early Childhood Collaborative.
Organizers said the event aims to provide families with access to information about early literacy, school readiness and available services across the city in a single setting.
