STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Center for the Arts’ Palace Theatre has announced the return of Diana Ross for her upcoming Diana in Motion 2026 Worldwide Tour on Aug. 16 at 7 p.m.
Known as the queen of Motown, Ross is scheduled to return to The Palace Theatre stage with a performance featuring Motown hits, disco anthems and songs from her solo career.
The performance comes as the historic venue approaches its 100th anniversary.
Ross previously performed at the theatre as the main act for its 2011 gala, an event organizers said helped establish the venue’s reputation for hosting major entertainment acts.
"Having Ms. Ross return to our stage as we approach a century of history is a poetic milestone," said Palace Theatre President and CEO Michael Moran Jr., in a news release. "She was the star for our second Gala tradition, and her presence today reinforces The Palace’s enduring role as a premier destination for legendary talent."
Tickets for the event are available now online.
More information is available through The Palace Theatre Stamford or by contacting the box office at 203-325-4466 Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m.
