STAMFORD, CT — SoundWaters' afternoon and sunset sails will launch for the season on Memorial Day Weekend from Stamford Harbor.
Passengers aboard the 80-foot Schooner SoundWaters will take in views of Long Island Sound, including the Stamford lighthouse, Shippan Point, Greenwich Point, Long Island and, on clear days, the New York City skyline.
"Sailing on Long Island Sound is beautiful and relaxing, offering a direct connection to this precious natural resource," said SoundWaters Vice President of Development Bob Mazzone in an announcement. "We are delighted that schooner sails are so popular. Our community is stronger when we are connected to and learning from Long Island Sound."
Sunset sails will run Wednesday through Sunday evenings. Guests may bring their own food and beverages aboard. Tickets are $55 per person.
Afternoon sails will be offered Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 5 to 12.
All sails depart from the Cohen SoundWaters Harbor Center at Boccuzzi Park, 200 Southfield Ave. in Stamford. Guests are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes before departure for check-in and boarding.
More information and tickets are available at SoundWaters Sails.
