STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Downtown will host "Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0," an interactive public art installation inspired by the street markets and sense of community found throughout Latin America, in Columbus Park from Aug. 1 through Sept. 7.

Created by acclaimed Mexican designers Esrawe + Cadena, the installation is designed to transform public space into an interactive environment where art, design and human connection intersect. It features illuminated red house-shaped frames, each containing a swing that invites visitors to gather, relax and interact with the space.

When the structures are unoccupied, they emit a soft glow welcoming the next visitor. When someone steps inside, the light intensifies, signaling that someone is home and creating a shared moment of connection in the public realm.

"Stamford Downtown is proud to bring this internationally recognized installation to our community,” said Stamford Downtown President Michael Moore in an announcement. "Mi Casa, Your Casa 2.0 is more than an art exhibit — it is an invitation for people to come together, experience joy, and interact with Stamford Downtown in a unique and memorable way."

The installation was previously exhibited at Lincoln Center in New York City, Houston, Las Vegas, and Iowa City.
