STAMFORD, CT — A Stamford firefighter and the driver of another vehicle were treated for injuries early Sunday when the vehicle crashed into a Stamford fire truck on Sunday on the Merritt Parkway, the Stamford Advocate reported.
The injuries were reportedly not considered serious, but the vehicle that collided with the fire truck rolled over during the 12:30 a.m. crash.
The crash reportedly occurred northbound at the Merritt's Den Road exit.
Patch reached out to Connecticut State Police for information on the crash, but did not immediately receive a reply.
According to officials, the fire truck, Rescue 66, which is part of the Turn of River Fire Department fleet, sustained heavy damage and will be out of commission for repairs.
