'Summer In The Park' Returns To Stamford With Big-Name Concerts, Several Festivals

The event series will include big-name performers, cultural festivals, and plenty of food and beverage offerings.

STAMFORD, CT — "Summer in the Park" will return to Mill River Park in downtown Stamford for its second season, featuring three weekends of concerts, food festivals and entertainment beginning July 16.

The 2026 event, which is supported by Hey Stamford!, Mill River Park, Stamford Downtown and Mohegan Sun Online Casino, will include nationally recognized performers, cultural festivals, food and beverage offerings, and live entertainment.

The Thursday night concert series opens July 16 with performances by DaBaby, Fat Joe and Remy Ma.

Organizers said proceeds from the event will benefit local children's organizations, funding programs and services for children and families in the community.

The series continues July 23 with electronic dance-pop duo Two Friends, followed July 30 by Ja Rule and Ashanti, who are scheduled to perform together in Stamford for the first time. The July 30 concert will also feature opener We Heart R&B.

The event schedule also includes several festivals.

Perreoland Festival is scheduled for July 18 and will feature reggaeton duo Jowell & Randy, along with live DJs and Latin-inspired food and drinks.

The Colombian Independence Day Festival is scheduled for July 19 and will include a World Cup Final watch party, a performance by salsa group Grupo Niche, authentic cuisine, family activities and live entertainment.

The Hey Stamford! Food Festival will return Aug. 1-2 with food vendors, themed bars, celebrity guests, live music and culinary experiences.
