STAMFORD, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont's re-election campaign announced it is opening several campaign headquarters across Connecticut ahead of the Tuesday, Aug. 11 Democratic primary, including one in Stamford.
According to the campaign, the new offices will serve as hubs for field staff, volunteers, phone bankers and canvassers as it expands its statewide organizing operation in the weeks leading up to the primary.
The Stamford campaign headquarters will be located at 1250 Summer St., Suite 307.
"This campaign is all about Connecticut–every town, every neighborhood, every family–and how we’re working hard to build a better future for everyone," Lamont said in a news release. "We're opening field offices because democracy works best when people connect face to face. We’ll be working day and night to reach out to voters to listen to their concerns and share our vision for a stronger, safer, more affordable Connecticut together. The momentum is real, and it's growing every day. If you believe in where we're headed, come be a part of it. Let's keep moving Connecticut forward."
The campaign also announced headquarters in Bridgeport, Danbury, Hartford, New Britain, New Haven, Groton, Torrington and Waterbury.
The campaign said it hosts weekly phone banks and canvassing outreach events, and volunteers, phone bankers and canvassers are welcome at all locations.
According to the campaign, the headquarters expansion reflects its growing organizing operation as it works to turn out Democratic primary voters across the state ahead of the August primary.
