STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Department will host a National Night Out event on Tuesday, Aug. 4, beginning at 5 p.m. at 805 Bedford St.
National Night Out is a nationwide event designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.
The event will give attendees an opportunity to meet Stamford police officers, learn about public safety and take part in family-friendly activities.
Visitors will also be able to explore police vehicles, including the department's armored rescue vehicle, participate in Touch-a-Truck experiences, meet community partners and connect with Stamford police officers.
