STAMFORD, CT — Stamford logged 231 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Real estate and holding companies led the way with 18 filings, followed by residential landlords and software and IT firms.
Among the new arrivals were Sacred Altar, a lodging business, 249 STAMFORD, a full-service restaurant and Coffee Truck J Carrera, a mobile food business. All but 10 organized as limited liability companies; the exceptions were two professional LLCs, seven corporations and one other entity.
State registration doesn't guarantee a business is open to customers yet; the filing can precede or follow a launch by months. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
