Annual Health Wellness & Lifestyle Expo Returns To Stamford

This is Connecticut's largest health and wellness expo. It will feature 120 exhibitors and eight different zones for guests to enjoy.

STAMFORD, CT — The 12th annual Health Wellness & Lifestyle Expo, with special thanks to Stamford Health, will take place on Sept. 9 in Harbor Point.

This is Connecticut's largest health and wellness expo featuring 120 exhibitors, eight different zones, free health screenings provided by Stamford Health, free flu shots administered by ShopRite, and other screenings and activities offered by an exciting group of sponsors and exhibitors.

Free group classes along the stunning Harbor Point boardwalk are another highlight of this important community event.

The theme for this year's expo is GO. GATHER. GROW: Let's GO to the expo. Let's GATHER with family and friends to experience the best in health, wellness, and fitness. Let's GROW mind, body, and spirit.

Parking and admission are free. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The day will begin with a welcome ceremony led by Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons. She will present a proclamation declaring Sept. 9 as Stamford Health, Health & Wellness Day. This is to recognize Stamford Health and their commitment to this event for the 12th consecutive year and their commitment to providing world-class healthcare to the greater Stamford community.

Additionally, the Cingari family, who owns a number of ShopRites in CT, will be honored with a community leadership award during the opening ceremony.

The National Anthem will be performed along with a Color Guard.

The eight zones of the expo will showcase a Pet Wellness Zone sponsored by Spot On Veterinary Hospital & Hotel; Yoga & Stretching Zone sponsored by Greenwich Psychology & Wellness;Group Fitness Zone sponsored by Sacred Heart University; Healthy Food Truck Zone; Healthy Food, Restaurants & Beverage Zone; Eco-Friendly Wine, Spirits, & Craft Beer Zone; the Kids Zone sponsored by Au Pair in America featuring fun activities in the sand pit area on Harbor Point’s Boardwalk; and a Pickleball America Zone where everyone can experience the many health benefits of this popular sport and the new Pickleball America opening at the Stamford Town Center.
