Applications Open For Stamford's 2024 Community Micro-Grant Program
The program has awarded small grants for community-specific projects aimed at improving the quality of life across Stamford's neighborhoods.

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Mayor’s Office is now accepting grant applications for the 2024 Community Micro- Grant Program.
The Community Micro-Grant Program (formerly the Neighborhood Grant Program) has awarded small grants for community-specific projects aimed at improving the quality of life across Stamford’s neighborhoods.
Depending on the needs of a particular area, grant funds are available to help a range of resident groups – from informal grassroot organizations and neighborhood associations to community-wide efforts – by supporting the activities and projects important to applicants.

This year, the Community Micro-Grant Program has $75,000 available to invest in Stamford’s neighborhoods.
"We are pleased to once again offer this incredible grant opportunity aimed at increasing quality of life across Stamford’s neighborhoods," said Mayor Caroline Simmons in a news release. "Every year, residents implement creative initiatives to enhance their neighborhoods and community wellbeing and happiness. I look forward to seeing the projects proposed this year."

In 2023, the city awarded grants to 21 organizations ranging from $1,500 to $8,000:

- CORNERS Community
- Cove Neighborhood Association
- Fairgate Farm, Inc.
- Friends of Belltown
- Friends of Mianus River Park
- Glenbrook Neighborhood Association (GNA)
- Heart and Purpose
- Historic Cemetery Preservation Society
- Hubbard Heights Association
- Liberation Programs
- Stamford Police Athletic League
- Pollinator Pathway Stamford
- Saw Mill Association
- Shippan Point Garden Club
- Stamford Arts Association
- Stamford Public Education Foundation (SPEF)
- Strawberry Hill Neighborhood Association
- Synergy1 Holdings
- The RiseUp Group
