Armed Gas Station Robbers Sought By Stamford Police: Video

STAMFORD, CT — Two men — one of whom was armed with a handgun — robbed the Shell Gas Station at 1029 Hope St. at about 5:35 a.m. on Nov. 17, and Stamford police are asking for the public's help in capturing them. See the surveillance video below.
No injuries were reported in the robbery, but a clerk on-duty had the handgun pointed at his body during the incident. The pair stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and cigarettes.
One of the suspects is described as white and one is black. The white suspect, who was armed, was wearing a dark-colored Snap-On hooded jacket, Sketchers shoes and a camo-style face mask. The jacket had a red logo on the front.

The black suspect was wearing a dark-colored hooded jacket, a black backpack, a Burberry-style scarf over his face and a glove on his right hand.
Anyone who may have information on the incident and/or the suspects is urged to contact the Stamford Police Department at 203-977-4417. Police officials warn people not to approach the suspects if they encounter them.
