Author/Illustrator Kevin Henkes at The Ferguson Library

On Sunday, November 2 at 2 p.m., author/illustrator Kevin Henkes will visit the Ferguson Library.

On Sunday, November 2 at 2 p.m., The Ferguson Library presents its annual Jeanne Rinehart Family Program with a visit from author/illustrator Kevin Henkes. The program will take place in the Third Floor Auditorium at the Library, located at the corner of Bedford and Broad Streets, Stamford.

Kevin Henkes is the beloved creator of picture book characters such as Owen and Lily, and the winner of the Caldecott Medal for Kitten’s First Full Moon. His elegant and thoughtful prose has also earned him Newbery Honor citations for The Year of Billy Miller and Olive’s Ocean.

In addition to his self-illustrated picture books, Mr. Henkes has written picture books that others have illustrated and a number of novels for young readers.
