Back To School: Stamford 2021-22 School Calendar

STAMFORD, CT — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Stamford, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in Stamford Public Schools.

The first day of school for all students in Stamford is Aug. 30.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Stamford.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended indoor masks for all, including visitors, regardless of vaccination status. Gov. Ned Lamont's school mask mandate is in effect until at least Sept. 30.

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Stamford Public Schools

First Day: Aug. 30

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26. School resumes Monday, Nov. 29.

Winter Break: Dec. 24-31. School resumes Monday, Jan. 3, 2022.

Spring Break: April 11-15, 2022. School resumes Monday, April 18.

Last Day: Tentatively scheduled for June 13, 2022.
