Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival Coming To Stamford

The festival will take place at Stamford's Palace Theatre.

GREENWICH, CT — The 48th Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival is coming to Stamford's Palace Theatre on March 1.

"Get off the beaten path and explore the edge of believable with captivating stories from the 48th Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, coming to The Palace Theatre, Stamford, on March 1st, at 7 p.m.," the description of the event says. "Stand on the highest peaks, ski the steepest slopes, and be a part of the gripping adventures waiting for you in this year’s Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour. From exploring remote landscapes to adrenaline-fueled action sports, films selected for the 2023/2024 World Tour are sure to captivate and amaze you. Be moved. Be inspired. Don’t miss out."

The festival began in 1976 and is a flagship program of the Banff Centre in Banff, Canada.

This year's world tour has 37 films from around the world, including films from Canada, the United States, Switzerland, France, Sweden and more.
