Bartenders Arrested After Double Fatal Stamford Crash
Several bartenders and liquor permittees were arrested after underage drinking that preceded a double fatal crash, police said.

STAMFORD, CT — Police arrested three liquor permittees and four bartenders after a fatal motor vehicle crash involving underage drinking.
A pickup truck operated by Thomas Molgano, 20, was traveling southbound on Hope Street Feb. 4 when it crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic and skid into a tree. Molgano and passenger Lucas Salem, 20, were killed in the crash and another 20-year-old passenger was injured. Molgano and Salem were from Stamford.
Molgano was intoxicated at the time of the crash, according to the Office of the State Medical Examiner.

Police interviewed more than 30 witnesses and conducted nine search warrants as part of the investigation into the whereabouts of the three prior to the crash.
Six underage people were served alcohol at various establishments the evening of the crash, police said. The Liquor Control Commission was notified of the incidents.
