Bartlett Arboretum To Hold Arbor Earth Day Festival April 24
The free outdoor festival will take place April 24 on the Great Lawn at the Bartlett Arboretum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
STAMFORD, CT — On April 24, the Bartlett Arboretum & Gardens will host visitors for a day of learning, growing and celebrating nature.
The Arbor Earth Day Festival will take place on the Great Lawn at the Bartlett Arboretum from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is free and open to all.
The festival will feature live music by the award-winning band, Bash the Trash, who performs using musical instruments made from reused and repurposed materials. There will also be demonstrations by UConn Master Gardeners, tree climbing demos by Bartlett Tree Experts, food trucks and over 20 local artists, artisans and non-profits, offering visitors a chance to shop local.

Stamford Mayor Caroline Simmons will be in attendance at noon for a ceremonial tree planting. Event guests should park at Scofield Magnet Middle School (641 Scofieldtown Road) and take the marked Bartlett trail to the festival.
The main parking lot at the Bartlett will be reserved for parents with strollers and people with disabilities.
