Beverage Giant To Open Offices In Downtown Stamford: Report

The company plans to bring about 250 jobs to the city as a result.

STAMFORD, CT — An alcoholic-beverages giant announced Monday it plans to open new satellite offices in downtown Stamford early next year, the Stamford Advocate reported. The company, Diageo, plans to bring approximately 250 jobs to the city as a result.

According to the Stamford Advocate, Diageo plans to open offices at 200 Elm Street, covering about 40,000 square feet. The offices will house a research and development center in addition to other operations.

Diageo's brands include Captain Morgan, Smirnoff, Crown Royal, Tanqueray, Don Julio, Guiness and Harp among many others, according to the company's website.
