Accident On Route 15 In Stamford Leads To Big Delays: UPDATE
You can expect numerous delays going home tonight in southwestern Connecticut.

UPDATE: GREENWICH - RT15 Northbound is congested between Exits 31 and 36 (6.6 miles) because of Motor Vehicle Accident (2 Vehicle) between Exits 35 and 36. The left lane is closed. Reported Friday, November 8 at 4:30 pm.
STAMFORD, CT — It may take a little longer for travelers to get home from work tonight, as a number of delays have been reported on Interstate 95 in and around Stamford. According to the state Department of Transportation, I-95 southbound is congested between Exits 6 and 2 for 5.5 miles, as of 3:23 p.m.
Route 15 northbound is also congested in Stamford between Exits 35 and 36 for 1.8 miles due to a motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles, the DOT reports. The left lane is closed as of 4:30 p.m.

Nearby in Greenwich, the DOT reports I-95 northbound is congested at Exit 3 and beyond for 25.6 miles as of 2:01 p.m.
In Norwalk, Route 15 northbound is congested between Exits 40A and 51 for 16 miles as of 2:24 p.m. Route 15 southbound isn't much better, as the DOT reports it is congested between Exits 40B and 35 for 7.1 miles as of 3 p.m.
