Mr. '12 has ended, but I have a new webcomic!
Mr. '12 has moved on, but I have a new webcomic if you're interested.

Hi Patches,
As you may have noticed from the, uh, three month gap in updates, Mr. '12 is over. I started a version of this comic in college, and Mr. '13/'12 has been pretty near and dear to me for years, so on the one hand I'm sad to see it end. On the other hand, it really needed to end, for me personally. When I started the original comic back in 2009, Mr. '12 (née '13) was not me. As time progressed, my comic character became a total author avatar. You could bet that whatever was happening in any week's comic had happened to me in that week in some way or another.
I wanted to start a new comic, something that could draw inspiration from what I know without being beholden to my life. I wanted to experiment with a more longform story, go beyond a gag-a-week strip, and Mr. '12 couldn't offer me that.

So, I built a new website and started a new comic. Imitation Real Life. It's a spiritual sequel to Mr. '12. He's actually an unseen character. The plot is about two of Mr. '12's friend's, one from college and one from a semester abroad, who are living in New York. The comic follows them, their friends, and their misadventures. It updates twice a week, on Mondays and Thursday's, and with 15 comics so far, I haven't missed an update... yet.
So I welcome you to check out my new comic. I'm doing it for fun, but if you liked Mr. '12, you'll probably like this. I'd like to thank the Patch, and DJ especially for hosting Mr. '12. I really, really appreciated it.
