Burglar Tried To Enter Stamford Jewelry Store Through Ceiling: PD
Police are asking for help identifying a suspected burglar who tried to enter a Stamford jewelry store by cutting a hole in the ceiling.

STAMFORD, CT — Police are asking for help identifying a suspected burglar who attempted to break in to a Stamford jewelry store by cutting through the ceiling.
The attempted burglary occurred around 3:30 a.m. on June 18 at NP Jewelers, located on High Ridge Road, police said in a Facebook post Wednesday.
Police said the suspect tried enter the store by cutting a hole in the ceiling. The suspect can also be seen in surveillance footage of the incident wearing "very distinct sneakers," according to police. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked not to approach them, but rather to contact the department's Property Crimes Division at 203-977-4407, or send them a message through the department's Facebook page.
