Bus Delays Expected For Stamford Public Schools

District officials said the expected delays are "due to a temporary shortage of school bus drivers."

STAMFORD, CT — Bus delays are expected for students of Stamford Public Schools due to "a temporary shortage of school bus drivers," district officials announced Tuesday evening.

In a statement, officials said the temporary shortage could last up until the district's holiday break. As a result, students' buses may run later than usual in both the morning and afternoon.

"Please be sure your child is dressed warmly, as the mornings are expected to remain cold," district officials said in a statement. "We apologize for the inconvenience."
