Welcome to Evergreen! Our mission is to enhance the lives of seniors by promoting engagement, health and joy and to provide relief to family caregivers. Here, we are all caregivers inspired by our own family voyages through late-life care.

Evergreen is the first adult day enrichment program of its kind in Stamford. Our unique studio at 884 Newfield Avenue offers physical and cognitive exercise programs, creative arts and wellness activities, nutritious meals and more. Specially-trained staff provides support and light care that is tailored to each member. Door-to-door transportation is now available.

We cater to families in the “forgotten middle” whose seniors need a helping hand to stay active and engaged, but who don’t want to move into an expensive assisted living community. Flexible memberships cost a fraction of the daily fees associated with home care or the monthly fees of a senior living community.

Founder Gabe Corredor spent a large part of his career working in senior management in the assisted living and memory care industry. After suffering a fall, Gabe’s own father was diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment. Although physically independent, Gabe’s dad was missing socialization and engagement. He needed more support than what a senior center could provide and he was not ready for assisted living. This fueled Gabe’s passion for designing a way that his father could once again experience engagement and connection in a safe, supervised setting.

While the caregiving industry grapples with staff shortages, Evergreen has reimagined the care paradigm by prioritizing staff and providing competitive wages, benefits and extensive training. We believe that Evergreen is the future of senior care.
