Music & Memories Studio is a unique 8-session “shared community experience” program, for individuals living with dementia and their care-partners. We also welcome anyone in the community who loves to sing and wants to make a difference! Our current program will run Tuesdays through December 23rd. We'll take a short break for the holidays, and resume in January 2026.
Each session features singing beloved songs across genres and eras, fun music trivia, and interactive conversation - sparking memories, laughter, and meaningful moments. The final session takes place at Grammy Award winning Carriage House Studios, where we record a professional song track, and create a music video as a keepsake for the participants. The program is free to attend and there's no commitment required (You can "drop-in" and/or skip as needed).
Music & Memories Studio is produced by Beth Styles and led by Beth and her long time peer - choir director Jason L. Terry. The duo directed Stamford's long-time interfaith choir - the New World Chorus, and have been collaborating on inspirational community experiences for 15 years.
