Grace, a 4th grader at Greenwich Academy, earned the title of Ms President US Greenwich with a platform focused on reducing screen time and encouraging young people to spend more timeengaging with the world around them. Nina, also a 4th grader at Greenwich Academy, was elected Ms President US Stamford with a platform focused on addressing hunger and helping families gain access to essential items they need to thrive.

The girls earned their titles at the Ms President US Signature Campaign and Election event heldat Greenwich Town Hall. Together with 6 fellow candidate teams, they presented original campaign platforms before an audience of more than 60 community members, elected officials, educators, and civic leaders. The election celebrated the power of young girls using their voices to create meaningful change in their communities.

The event drew support from local leaders including Greenwich Selectwoman Lauren Rabin and Ms. President US Founder Liz Osterhus.

"The confidence, creativity, and courage these girls demonstrated was exemplary," said Amanda Cordano, Executive Director of Ms. President US.
