Carmen J. Lorenti, 54; Lifelong Stamford Resident Who Owned Lorenti Landscaping

Calling hours will be held Monday, Sept. 29 with the funeral scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 30.

Carmen J. Lorenti, a lifelong Stamford resident, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was 54.

Born on Oct. 6, 1959, the son of the late Carmelo Lorenti and Elizabeth Banford Lorenti.

Carmen was the owner and operator of Lorenti Landscaping. He as an avid New York Yankee and New York Giants fan.

Carmen is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Barbara Jean (Perry) Lorenti; his children, Carmen J. “CJ” Lorenti, Lisa M. Lorenti, and Nicole E. Lorenti; his brother, Jimmy Lorenti; sister, Lee Sidlowski; and his grandson, Joseph Lorenti. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

In addition to parents, he is predeceased by his son, Jason R. Lorenti.

Carmen will be missed by all who knew and loved him. His love of life and generous spirit touched everyone he met.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien. Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford on Monday, Sept. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m.
