Cash Register Stolen From Stamford Golf Course Restaurant: Video

STAMFORD, CT — The Stamford Police Property Crimes Division is asking for the public's help in identifying a thief who stole the cash register from Zody's 19th Hole restaurant at the E. Gaynor Brennan Golf Course on Stillwater Avenue, authorities announced.

The theft occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on April 19, and the department posted surveillance video of the crime. See the video below.

"The suspect enters through a window and steals the cash register," officials wrote on the department Facebook page. "The suspect appears to be a white male, wearing a dark coat with a hood, dark pants and dark shoes with a white sole and border. The suspect appears to be balding and clean shaven."

Anyone with any information about the suspect and/or crime is urged to contact the property crimes division at 203-977-4407. Officials warn people not to approach the suspect but instead notify the department.
