Chef Awarded Seven-Figure Settlement in Suit Against Stamford Company: Report
David Lambo of Easton suffered serious injuries after tripping on a plastic runner at a home in Greenwich back in 2014.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A personal chef who lives in Easton was awarded nearly $1.5 million as a result of a settlement with a remodeling company in Stamford, reports the Connecticut Post.
David Lambo had filed suit against Stamford-based SWS Builders after suffering serious injuries due to tripping on a plastic runner which he alleged was "improperly installed and dangerous." Lambo fell head and shoulders first and suffered injuries including a concussion, a torn rotator cuff, herniated disks, which lead to surgeries.
The fall occurred at a house on Baldwin Farm South in Greenwich in April of 2014, where Lambo had been working. The report cites court papers indicating that Lambo can no longer carry boxes of food and kitchen supplies necessary for him to work as a personal chef.
