Chick-Fil-A's Stamford Proposal Cooked: Report
Where the company wanted to put it traffic was a concern.

STAMFORD, CT — A plan to put a Chick-fil-A restaurant in the Bull's Head section of Stamford was withdrawn this week due to continued concerns over traffic impact, reports the Stamford Advocate.
In the spring, the company tried to convince the Zoning Board that traffic would not be problem, but opposition to the plan slowly grew. The restaurant would have gone into the currently vacant Bank of America site at the base of High Ridge Road.
City officials, including Mayor David Martin and the Stamford Transportation Bureau, opposed the plan, as did several area residents.
