Children's Literary Event with Illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky

Celebrated illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky will be the featured speaker at the annual Jeanne Rinehart Family Program at The Ferguson Library.

On Saturday, December 1 at 2 p.m., The Ferguson Library presents its annual Jeanne Rinehart Family Program with a visit from illustrator Paul O. Zelinsky, one of the most inventive and critically successful artists in the field. Mr. Zelinsky will speak (and doodle!) about his many books for children. The program will take place in the Third Floor Auditorium at the Ernest A. DiMattia, Jr. Building of The Ferguson Library. A book sale and signing will follow the presentation. The program is for kids in grades K and up and their families.

Among many other awards and prizes, Mr. Zelinsky received the Caldecott Medal for his illustrated retelling of Rapunzel, as well as Caldecott Honors for three of his books (Hansel and Gretel, Rumpelstiltskin, and Swamp Angel), will speak (and doodle!) about his many books for children. In 2018, he was given the Carle Honor Award for Illustration.
