Cold and Flu? Not For You!

A special program about staying healthy during the winter flu season at The Ferguson Library, in partnership with Bottom Line Inc.

People looking to beat this winter’s potentially devastating flu season can receive expert advice from top physicians on Thursday, September 12, at 7 p.m. at The Ferguson Library.

Don’t be sidelined by illness this winter! Attendees will learn the critical secrets of natural healing for cold and flu prevention, hear about flu vaccine options, discover the best ways to strengthen their immune systems and beat germs at their own game.

Over the course of the evening, participants will hear from two top physicians in their fields. Dr. Geo Espinosa, ND, LAC, IFMCP, CNS, is clinical assistant professor of integrative and functional urology at New York University. Joseph Feurstein, MD, is associate professor of clinical medicine at Columbia University, New York City, and director of integrative medicine at Stamford Hospital. The panel will be led by Sarah Hiner, CEO of Bottom Line Inc and host of the Bottom Line Advocator Podcast, available on Apple Podcasts. Together, they will identify factors that make you vulnerable to illness—from lifestyle to food choices—and strategies for overcoming it.

“You can’t just get a flu shot and be done with it. We offer the tools you need to take control of your own health and stand strong against the many health risks that may strike you or your family in the upcoming winter season. Self-defense strategies are even more important if you have other health conditions like diabetes, heart disease or asthma,” says Hiner.

The free event is sponsored by Bottom Line Inc, publisher of Bottom Line Personal, a bimonthly newsletter dedicated to providing actionable advice from the world’s best experts, and Bottom Line Health, a leading monthly consumer-health newsletter.
