Coronavirus Stamford: Hospital No Longer Allowing Visitors
Stamford Health has also made some other temporary changes to its visitor policy.
STAMFORD, CT — Stamford Health announced this week the hospital will not be allowing visitors for the time being "due to the evolving nature" of the new coronavirus. The facility has also made some other temporary changes to its visitor policy as the state, and the nation, grapples with the novel virus, also referred to as the COVID-19 virus.
Under the new policy, Neonatal ICU (NICU) and pediatric patients will be allowed two parent/guardian visitors, while labor and delivery patients will be allowed one designated support visitor. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

"In addition to continuing to follow all of our standard and robust infection prevention measures, we are continually monitoring patients and staff for symptoms and reinforcing to staff that they should stay home if they are not feeling well."
