Cove Island COVID-19 Test Site 'On Pause'
The city of Stamford announced the testing site is "on pause" for the remainder of Monday.

STAMFORD, CT — The Cove Island COVID-19 testing site is currently on pause for the remainder of the day, according to an announcement from the city of Stamford. More details will be provided when the site re-opens Tuesday.
Testing at the site had been paused twice on Monday after Cove Island Park reached vehicle capacity.
The site was moved to the park last week after traffic and long lines snarled the area around Stamford High School. Officials hoped the move allowed for more space and access, but long lines have continued, and the site has been paused off and on several times throughout the last few days as people have rushed to get tests ahead of Christmas and now New Year's.
