Puppy Chokes To Death In Stamford After Jumping From Car: Report
The incident occurred in Stamford Saturday afternoon.

STAMFORD, CT — A puppy that jumped out of a parked car window on Canal Street in Stamford Saturday afternoon choked to death on its leash, reports the Greenwich Time.
Police officers were called to the scene at about lunch time and found the dog hanging from its leash outside of the window.
The owners had gone to lunch nearby and parked the car in the shade - next to the Cornell University Veterinary clinic - and left three windows open and a bowl of water for the animal, according to the publication. Police officers found the owners a short while later and broke the news to them.
