Decision Made On Classes At Stamford Public Schools For March 3

STAMFORD, CT — Due to the wintry mix expected to move into the area on Tuesday, Stamford Public Schools is closed.

"Due to the timing of the winter weather expected later this morning and during the early afternoon, all Stamford Public Schools will be closed today, Tuesday, March 3, 2026. We apologize for the late notification and for any inconvenience this may cause," SPS said in an announcement.

Snow will begin to fall late morning, early afternoon, and turn to all rain after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The high for Tuesday is 38 degrees.
