Dog Rescued from Stamford Condo Fire
The downtown residence was heavily damaged by smoke.

Stamford Fire Marshals are trying to determine what caused a condominium fire Thursday night that was confined to one unit of the Washington Mews complex on Washington Boulevard.
Firefighters rescued the condo resident’s pet dog from the smoke-filled second-floor unit, according to Hearst Connecticut Newspapers.
The fire was contained to the the room where the fire started and the condo unit that was extensively damage by smoke, according to the Hearst report that can be found here.
