Driver Charged With Going 100 MPH in Crash That Killed Stamford Man: Police
The Bridgeport man was arrested nine months after the crash, which took the life of a Stamford man on Father's Day.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A man accused of driving at speeds of around 100 miles per hour during a crash that killed a Stamford man on Father's Day last year was arrested Wednesday, according to Capt. Brian Fitzgerald.
Police obtained an arrest warrant for David Henshaw, 63, of Bridgeport, who later turned himself in to police this morning. Henshaw was charged in connection with a June 19 crash that killed Peter Soto, 31, of Stamford on Main Street and Fairview Avenue near St. Vincent's Medical Center. According to a report from News 12 Connecticut, Henshaw was going 100 miles per hour when he smashed into Soto who was turning onto Main Street from Fairview Avenue at 5:02 a.m.

Henshaw was charged with second degree manslaughter and misconduct with a motor vehicle, according to police. His bond was set at $5,000 and is due to appear in court on March 28.
