DUI Driver Had Spiked Wooden Club in Car: Report
The Stamford man was arrested following a traffic stop in Fairfield.

FAIRFIELD, CT – A traffic stop led to the arrest of a Stamford man on DUI and weapons in a motor vehicle charges Saturday night in Fairfield, according to the Fairfield Citizen.
The Citizen reports Harold A. Bonvenuto, 45, of Benstone Court, was pulled over after he allegedly drove through two stop signs and wasn’t wearing his seatbelt.
Bonvenuto, who is on supervised probation, was found to have a wooden club with “numerous sharp, metal spikes” and a 2-inch knife in the handle in his truck, according to the Citizen.
