Eversource Warns Of Scam In Stamford
Eversource said Stamford residents have been the target of a utility scam.

STAMFORD, CT — Stamford residents have been the target of a recent utility scam, according to Eversource.
Eversource said Thursday that scammers are demanding immediate payment from customers using a bitcoin ATM. The utility company is advising residents that if they receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and call Eversource at 800-286-2000.
