Ex-Gambino Mob Boss Anthony 'The Genius' Megale Has Died: Report
The Stamford resident reportedly suffered a heart attack.
The reputed former Gambino crime family boss Anthony ‘The Genius’ Megale reportedly died Tuesday night after suffering a heart attack.
The North Stamford resident died at Stamford Hospital, according to The Advocate.
Megale was an underboss in the crime family that was run by John Gotti and served more than eight years in prison following convictions on federal extortion charges. He was released from prison last December.
