Facing Sex Assault and Voyeurism Charges, Former Bridgeport Hospital Manager Found Dead: Stamford Police
Police believe the Stamford resident, who is accused of sexually assaulting and secretly photographing men, committed suicide.

Stamford, CT - Barry Barkinsky, a Stamford resident and former emergency manager of Bridgeport Hospital, is suspected of committing suicide, as he faced charges of sexually assaulting and secretly photographing men at the facility, according to Stamford police.
Barkinsky's body was found in his apartment Monday afternoon when police went to the home to check on his welfare, reports the Connecticut Post.
Police say it appears that Barkinsky ground up prescription pills, mixed them with alcohol and drank the concoction. An autopsy by the state medical examiner's office was scheduled for today.

Barkinsky was facing four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and 10 counts of voyeurism. He turned over to police more than 2,100 photographs he is alleged to have taken of men, and he also allegedly gave enemas to men, some forcibly, among other crimes.
