Fairfield County Hospice House Appoints New Executive Director
Director brings 25 years of senior care experience to Fairfield County organization
The board of directors at the Fairfield County Hospice House have appointed Loretta Lacci as their new Executive Director and Service Coordinator. Ms. Lacci is a nurse leader with experience across the health care continuum – from acute care to skilled nursing, assisted living, home care and adult day care. She has experience in personnel management, marketing, community outreach, development, quality improvement, resident relations, geriatric care management, and veterans’ programs. Loretta has served on the Fairfield County Hospice board of directors since 2012. Most recently, she has worked as a Geriatric Care Manager and prior for the River House Adult Day Center in Cos Cob, Sterling Home Health Services in Greenwich, Meadow Ridge Life Care Services in Redding, Atria Senior Living in Stamford and for Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY.
Loretta holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Pace University. She was recently certified in Patient Navigation at Gateway Community College, an affiliate with Yale New Haven Hospital and the CT Department of Health. She is a member of the Advisory Council for the Southwestern CT Agency on Aging and an active member of the CT Geriatric Society, Partnership in Elderly Services, and Senior Network Providers. Loretta resides in Greenwich, CT with her family.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead this organization, deliver residential services for people on hospice, and support to their loved ones during this important time of life,” added Ms. Lacci. “I have worked across Fairfield County with older adults and those near the end of life and know this is a critically important service for people in our communities.”
Fairfield County Hospice House is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, established in 2012 dedicated to filling a gap for those on home hospice in Fairfield County and surrounding communities. The house provides 24-hour private assisted living services for those receiving home hospice care from an accredited hospice agency.
