Healthy, Locally Grown Farmers Market Opens 6/4

Welcome! Your treasured community resource, Fairgate Farm, has adapted to operation during the pandemic and our dedicated team is excited to receive patrons back to our Farmers Market to share life-affirming benefits of healthy, locally grown, delicious produce! The 2020 season will begin, although with some restrictions, with offerings of Farm-grown lettuces, strawberries, radishes, green onions, an assortment of fresh greens, herbs and more. The selection will continue to grow week by week as we add popular summer fruits and vegetables grown at the Farm, as well as increased offerings from our local partner farmers.
As of June 4th the Fairgate Farm Farmers Market will provide a new online ordering system with curbside pickup located at 129 Stillwater Avenue. For those using public transit, CT Transit Bus 321 stops at Fairfield Avenue and Stillwater Avenue.
The public can visit FairgateFarm.com/farmers-market to place orders for locally grown produce from Fairgate Farm as well from our partner farms. Orders received by 6 pm on Wednesday can be picked up on Thursday between 12 pm to 6 pm or Saturday between 9 am to 12 noon. Orders received on Thursday by 8 pm can be picked up on Saturday between 9 am to 12 noon. Fairgate Farm will do its best to fill orders on a first-come-first-serve basis and will reach out if something has sold out. Besides offering locally-grown, seasonal fruits and vegetables, the Farmers Market will also sell fresh flowers and herbs throughout the season open through October.
