Former Stamford CEO Seeks to Move On from Dog-kicking Video
Des Hague said he received death threats and hate mail over the past year.

A Stamford former CEO is still hoping to put the effects of a viral video behind him, even after one year.
According to an article in the Stamford Advocate, Stamford-based Centerplate CEO Des Hague said he is working to rebuild his life after a year of death threats and having a member of his family harrassed.
Hague was captured on video kicking a dog in a Vancouver, British Columbia, elevator. Because of the backlash he stepped down in Sept. 2014 as head of Centerplate, which provides food and beverages at entertainment and sports venue in North America and the United Kingdom, the Advocate reported.
