Four Car Accident on Long Ridge Injures Two

A four-car crash on Long Ridge Road Wednesday morning required the response of several local fire companies, but there were no one involved suffered a life-threatening injury.

All drivers and passengers affected by a four-car collision at 1616 Long Ridge Road Wednesday morning required medical attention, although no one required serious treatment, according to the Stamford Advocate.

According to Daniel Dauplaise of the Long Ridge Fire Company, the accident occured at 11:11 a.m. Wednesday. In addition to the Long Ridge Fire Company, Stamford Fire and Rescue Engines 1, 8 and 9 provided assistance.

"Upon arrival, it was found to be a 4 car accident, two vehicles off the roadway, one remaining in the roadway, and one on its side. The driver of the vehicle on its side had been ejected," Dauplaise said in a press release.

All vehicle occupants were treated on the scene, taken to Stamford Hospital, and later released.
