On Tuesday 12/02/14 and at approximately 0045 hrs SPD responded to several shots fired into the residence at 127 Myano La. Seven rounds entered the rear of the residence nearly missing a 17 Y/O who was home at the time. SPD ID responded and recovered four .380 shell casings in the grassy area behind the residence. Witness’s relayed that four B/M’s with dark colored jackets and hoodies were last seen running towards the rear of Westover School.

In a separate incident, which occurred at 03/29/14, 127 Myano La was struck with gunfire in which several rounds were fired into the residence as the occupants slept. No one was injured and no suspects were developed at that time.

On Tuesday 12/02/14 and at approximately 1420 hrs SPD responded to the area of 121 Conn Ave for shots fired and a male victim struck by gunfire. Upon arrival it was determined that a 21 Y/O male who was standing in front of 127 Myano was grazed with a bullet to the top of his head. The victim relayed that as he was in the area a B/M, wearing a black jacket and grey hoodie, emerged from the sidewalk adjacent from 121 Connecticut Ave and shot several rounds at the victim. The victim was struck as he ducked from the gunfire. SPD BCI and ID responded and discovered two bullets and two .380 shell casings at the scene. Witnesses relayed that the B/M shooter ran South on Connecticut Ave. The victim is expected to survive.

The SPD have determined that there is simmering rivalry going on between youths from the Spruce St area and the Myano/Conn Ave area. We believe that all of the shootings are related to this feud.

Anyone who could provide any information on the shootings or the reason for the unrest to call the SPD Detective bureau at 203-977-4417.
