Garbage, Recycling Pickup Delayed In Stamford Due To Snow
City officials said garbage and recycling pickup for the week will be delayed by one day due to Monday's winter storm.
STAMFORD, CT — City officials said garbage and recycling pickup for Tuesday, Feb. 2, will be delayed by one day due to Monday's winter storm.
In a post on the Stamford Government Facebook page, city officials said Tuesday collections will take place Wednesday, and collections for Wednesday will take place Thursday. In similar fashion, Thursday collections will take place Friday, and collections for that day will take place Saturday. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
City officials also noted the Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center will be closed Tuesday.
